Last night I was winding-down at my house and watching the Olympic Athletes ‘go for Gold.’

I don’t know about you but I have been watching the Olympic Games any chance I get,

Last night I watched some Women’s Volleyball, Gymnastics, and some swimming…

I just love watching these athletes who are so focused, so determined, and so mentally-invested in achieving the goals that they’ve been working towards for so long…

For example,

Last night United States Swimmer Michael Phelps won yet another Gold Medal…

Today, I was watching the morning news and Michael’s Publicity Agent was being interviewed.

Michael’s Agent said something that really caught my attention and I think it is something that might be able to help you achieve greater success in all areas of your life and I’ll tell you why in a second.

Hey there,

I did a ‘mental weight-lifting’ exercise yesterday that was meant to improve my mental outlook on training, and I would like to share it with you. The mind is arguably the most important resource we have for overcoming physical challenges and achieving goals like fat loss.

What we do not consider possible, in our head, will never be possible for our body. Our physical fitness and natural grace and poise is only limited by those negative boundaries we place on ourselves daily.

Your Reason Why – A Critical Component Of Fat Loss Success…

Howdy,

Over the years of working with hundreds of people on their fat loss goals one thing has shown through as the critical reason why some people succeed and some people don’t…

It’s simply this…

A compelling reason why.

You see, over the past few months I have been busting my butt, training hard, tightening up my diet, staying focused on my goals.

My reason why for the moment:

“To look darn good on one of the most memorable days of my life – my Wedding day. I also wanted to be proud of my body while standing on the beaches of Mexico and have
a fabulous honeymoon in the sun…”

For me that simple ‘reason why’ has driven me to train when I was tired…

To eat right when temptation was whispering in my ear, and to stick with my plan and stay the course.

When consulting with my personal training clients I would ask them ‘why’

The ‘Swollen Bulldog’ Back-Up Fat Loss Workout Plan

Let me tell you the story about my Swollen English Bulldog…

Here’s what happened,

The other day I brought my little English Bull Dog puppy “Noble” to the Vet for her Rabies shot,

The Vet pulled out this big fat Needle and jabbed my puppy…

My little girl was a trooper and did great at her ‘Doctor’s’ visit.

After she had her shot we drove back home and I had to hop on a phone meeting for work…
